Jaymagee.com is back … and he’s hungry…

Welcome, friends. After more than two years of dormancy and downright nothingness embodying this storied URL, Jaymagee.com has been set free. This time, it’s in the form of a WordPress.org blog site.

For a few months, I’ve been carefully planning this comeback. I acknowledge that the world has changed dramatically since Jaymagee.com occupied center stage, and by that I mean Facebook, Twitter and all things social on the Web. Jaymagee.com served up thousands of pictures and blogs even before Mark Zuckerberg submitted his application to Harvard. Jaymagee.com’s “privacy controls” meant that I took my address off the PDF of my resume I posted, to keep those hundreds of stalkers guessing.

For the most part, all of those functions have been moved to my Facebook profile. You go where the crowd is, after all. And Mark and company offer a great tool that has revolutionized the world in just seven little years.

Will Jaymagee.com attract a crowd once again?  The more I pondered that question as I noodled a scratch pad full of “Jaymagee.com Relevancy Scenarios” mind maps not too long ago, the more I realized it didn’t need to anymore. Do I want my canvas to the world splashed all over Google for random voyeurs to track and wonder? Not until I come through with that REALLY cool line of Jaymagee.com boxer shorts. Then, maybe I’ll be cool with that.

So what will become of this site? I’m not 100 percent sure yet. But know that some great seeds have been planted here. Check in every now and then to see how they’re growing.
